WHY I TEACH?
I get so much out of teaching. Sharing self care and fitness with others motivates me to be the best I can be. I show up for the participants and participants show up for me. I am forever grateful to be able to share my passion with others. I am inspire everyday by the people in my classes.
WHEN I AM NOT TEACHING...
I am spending time with my family. We like to ski, hang out at the beach and DANCE!

I became certified as a Group Exercise instructor and strength training coach in 2001 while attending Carleton University. In 2006 I became a Certified Personal trainer with Can-fit pro. I then became a personal trainer and manager with the largest fitness company in Canada for several years (until the birth of my first child in 2011). I am certified in several Les Mills International disciplines including: Body Pump, Body Flow and RPM (spin), my passion for teaching continues to grow stronger every year. I am also certified in Jillian Michael's BodyShred and Yogafit.
I have taking my STOTT pilates Certification and I am currently studying for my final exam. I have also developed my own spin method called the SUMMIT BEATS Method (which all of our current instructors teach).
In most recent years I have explored the amazing world of plant based living and personal growth. I am a certified Transformational Nutrition coach (ITN). My commitment to meditation and a plant based diet has given me an extra and amazing edge in my personal fitness and certainly as a coach. Every year gets better and I am very excited and confident in my experience, abilities and growth. Nutrition and lifestyle coaching is my true passion and I can't wait to help you reach your max potential
