Please arrive 5-15 minutes before class. If there is a class in progress when you arrive, please feel free to wait quietly in our seating area. Doors open 15 mins before your class start time.
We love to brag about our ample free parking, which lets face it...it's pretty rare for a boutique studio! We have plenty of free parking in the front parking lot, please park in the spaces mark "FITNESS ROOM RESERVED" or any unmarked spots. There is also a parking lot to the left side of the building.
We have beautiful showers for you to use in both of the studio washrooms, we just ask that you bring your own towel.
We provide all the mats and props you need for each class. You are welcome to bring your own mat if you like.
PILATES, BARRE & YOGA classes are done in bare or sock feet, STRENGTH, FHIITCAMP & SPIN require sneakers. Please bring indoor shoes or be sure to wear clean sneakers in the studio. You also have the option to store your indoor sneakers at the studio free of charge.
SPIN SHOES: WE DO NOT PROVIDE SPIN SHOES
You have the option to wear a regular running or cross training sneaker to spin class or you can bring your own indoor cycling shoes as there is a clip in option.
We ask people to try to unplug and be in moment by leaving their cell phones off and stored if possible. This allows all class participants to enjoy an optimal experience.
Online booking is the best way to ensure your spot in class. Please use the ZEN PLANNER app or member portal.
You must cancel your class at least 5 hours (9 hours for 6am classes) before your class starts to give people on the waitlist a chance to be notified if there is a spot available. Late cancels (cancelling outside of the 8 hour window) and no-shows will result in a $10 charge for unlimited members and a loss of a class for class pass users.
In the case of a storm or dangerous road conditions please put your safety first. If you do not feel safe coming to class and cannot unregister yourself due to our 5 hour cancellation policy please let us know at Info@thefitnessroom.ca. Email is the best method of communication for cancelling classes.
We always intend to run classes if it is safe to do. If an instructor is unable to safely make it to the studio we will cancel the class. We will always cancel with at least an hours notice. On bad weather days, please check your email and/or social media an hour before class to insure we are still good to go.
