Maggie is a movement enthusiast! Born and raised in Halifax, Maggie grew up playing sports and walking neighbourhood dogs. Her love of physical activity and mindful movement brought her to a career as a Chiropractor with fitness, yoga and spin teaching on the side! She has a 200hr YTT and Summit Beats Spin teacher training from The Fitness Room!
Why do you teach?
I teach because I love sharing my passion for movement and of course…the music. From yoga to spin, bringing music and movement together is my jam ;)
What do you do when you’re not teaching?
When I’m not teaching or working at the clinic I’m likely walking my dog around the neighbourhood, with my family or at a fitness class. On long weekends, you can find me in Cape Breton hiking, road cycling or on the golf course.
What’s on my playlist?
Everything! I truly enjoy and appreciate all styles of music and am open to requests! Most commonly my playlists have a mix of pop, classic rock, EDM, hip hop and some 80s or 90s throw backs. My yoga playlists are also varied but with a softer, calming vibe.
